About the exhibition

This exhibition is about the influence each of us has on the lives of our family, our friends and our community. Whatever happens to us as we journey through life comes with us - whether we like it or not: it shapes us and makes us who we are. Ideas, thoughts and deeds touch those around us and in turn influence the actions of others. This is reflected in the technique of a colour overlapping a neighbouring colour, subtly changing forever the colour it touches.

Awareness of the influence we can have on those we come into contact with is a powerful revelation.

We are also made up of many parts; no one is only what you see on the surface; we are the sum of many parts – no one is all good and no one is all bad. That also goes for information we are exposed to on a daily basis: where does the truth end and fiction begin?
